What are the Rates and Charges included in my Water Bill /
Statement of Account?
The
Water Bill or Statement of Account includes the following
charges:
a.
Basic Charge is your consumption in cubic meter multiplied
to the water rate corresponding
on your customer classification (i.e. residential, semi-business).
b. CERA is P1.00 per cubic meter of actual
water consumed.
c. FCDA (Foreign Currency Differential
Adjustment) is computed as a percentage of the
basic charge depending on the calculated factor for the quarter.
d. EC (Environmental Charge) is charged
to all water service connections to cover desludging
and other environmental cleaning costs. It is computed as
10% of items a, b, &
c.
e. SC (Sewerage Charge) is charged only
to those connected to the sewer lines. It is computed
as 50% of items a, b, & c.
f. MSC (Maintenance Service Charge) depending
on the size of your meter.
